We report the case of a 32 year old female, with a family history of thyrotoxicosis, who presented with palpitations, weight loss, anxiety and diarrhoea. The patient was clinically thyrotoxic with tachycardia and tremor. On examination there was no goitre or evidence of Graves opthalmopathy.
